Where Stainless Screen Is Specified
Coastal and humid buildings: stainless wire will not rust or stain façades in salt-air environments.
Public and commercial projects: high mechanical strength resists pushing, cutting and repeated cleaning.
Industrial filtration: fine mesh grades are used for kitchen equipment, dust filters and sieving screens.
Livestock and food facilities: washable metal mesh meets hygiene requirements where plastic degrades.
Quality Control
Shuntian inspects wire diameter, mesh count, roll width and surface finish on each production lot, and can supply material certificates on request. Epoxy coating is applied to a uniform film thickness so colour is consistent from roll to roll, which matters for visible façades.
Ordering
Stainless steel window screen is supplied in standard 30 m rolls or cut to length, packed in cartons with moisture protection for sea freight. The company ships from Tianjin or Qingdao within 20 to 30 days and accepts OEM carton printing for distributors.
Metal Versus Plastic Screen: Choosing Correctly
Plastic and fibreglass screens are the right answer for cost-sensitive residential work, but they fail early in three situations: coastal salt exposure, high-traffic commercial openings, and installations that are cleaned with brushes or pressure. Stainless steel screen solves all three, which is why specification writers in the Middle East, Southeast Asia and coastal Europe continue to request 304 and 304L grades despite the higher unit price. The calculation is straightforward: one stainless installation typically outlasts three plastic replacements, and the labour to re-screen a frame usually exceeds the material saving.
Production and Inspection
Wire is woven on precision looms, degreased and passivated before optional epoxy coating. Each roll is checked for mesh count, wire diameter, width and surface condition, and mill certificates can be issued for project documentation.
Cutting and Packing
Screens are supplied in 30 m rolls or cut to the panel sizes a fabricator needs, packed with interleaving to prevent abrasion during sea freight. Custom carton printing and pallet configurations are available for distributors.

Shuntian Releases Heavy-Duty HDPE Anti Hail Net with Five-Year UV Protection for Orchards
2026-10-21
Protecting the Harvest Against Extreme Weather
As hail events become more frequent and more damaging across southern Europe, Turkey, Chile and northern China, Anping Shuntian Wire Mesh Products Co., Ltd. has released a heavy-duty anti hail net built on 100% virgin HDPE with a five-year UV package. The net is produced in Anping County, Hebei Province, China, where the company has manufactured agricultural netting since 2014.

Key Performance Points
Energy absorption: the knitted structure deforms locally on impact and spreads the load, preventing stone fruit and grape damage.
Low shade impact: 10% to 20% shading keeps photosynthesis and sugar accumulation on track.
High tensile strength: withstands wind loads when installed on proper orchard frames.
Long service life: stabilized HDPE retains strength through repeated seasons of sun and frost.
Installation Context
The net is supplied for overhead orchard systems, vineyard covers, kiwi and apple canopies, vegetable tunnels and open-field plots. Because hail risk is highly local, Shuntian offers several mesh and width combinations so an installer can match the net to the crop value and the frame spacing.
Supply Information
Standard lead time is 20 to 30 days for full containers, shipped FOB Tianjin or Qingdao. The company supports OEM labels, custom roll widths and consolidated containers that combine hail net with shade net and insect net, reducing freight cost for agricultural distributors.
Understanding Hail Risk
Hail damage is not gradual: a single storm can strip a vineyard or apple block in twenty minutes, and the loss is usually uninsured for small and mid-size growers. That asymmetry explains why hail net is bought by crop value rather than by field area. Shuntian advises buyers to match mesh size and yarn thickness to the local hailstone profile and to the frame spacing, since an over-specified net adds cost while an under-specified one fails at the first serious event.
Quality Control
Each production lot is tested for yarn thickness, mesh opening, tensile strength and UV content, with test reports available for insurance or tender documentation. Edges are reinforced and can be fitted with eyelets or tension tape so the net grips the frame without local tearing.
Installation Support
Shuntian provides guidance on span length, post spacing and tensioning for common overhead systems, and can supply netting clips, tension wire and repair tape with volume orders so installers receive a complete package rather than netting alone.
Combined Container Loading
Because hail protection is usually part of a wider agricultural programme, hail net can be loaded together with shade net, insect net and weed barrier fabric, reducing per-unit freight cost for distributors who serve several crop segments.

Practical Benefits for Growers
Chemical-free protection: a physical barrier against fruit fly, wasps, birds and hail on individual clusters.
Air and light pass through: lower humidity inside the bag reduces rot and sunburn compared with sealed plastic bags.
Reusable and recyclable: growers reuse bags for several seasons and recycle them at end of life.
Simple harvest: the drawstring closure opens quickly at picking time without damaging produce.
Typical Applications
The bags are widely used on grapes, mangoes, apples, peaches, citrus and pomegranates, as well as on tomatoes, cucumbers and leafy vegetables in high-value plots. Exporters also use them as produce packaging for premium retail fruit.
Custom Production
Shuntian produces netting bags to buyer specification including size, mesh count, colour, stitching and closure type, with printed logo options for branded programmes. Minimum order quantities are kept low for trial orders, and full-container shipments leave Tianjin or Qingdao within 20 to 30 days.
Why Bag Format Beats Field Covers
Field netting protects a whole block, but it is expensive to install on irregular terrain and difficult to remove at harvest. Individual netting bags solve the same pest problem at a fraction of the material cost and allow growers to protect only the highest-value clusters. On table grapes, bagging is now standard practice in export-oriented production because it removes the need for repeated insecticide sprays close to harvest, which protects residue compliance in destination markets.
Manufacturing Details
Bags are cut, stitched and finished in-house, which allows Shuntian to adjust size, stitch density and closure type within a single production run. Ultrasonic sealing is available for a smooth edge that will not scratch fruit skin. Food-contact grade resin is used for all bags intended for edible produce.
Packaging and Delivery
Bags are packed in poly bags inside export cartons, typically 500 to 2,000 pieces per carton depending on size, with buyer labels applied on request. Standard lead time is 20 to 30 days FOB Tianjin or Qingdao, and small trial orders are welcomed so growers can test the format for one season before committing to volume.
Support for Branded Programmes
Retail and e-commerce sellers can order printed bags with logo and size indication, matched colours across a range, and mixed cartons that combine several sizes for a single SKU listing.

Why Fabricators Choose These Rolls
Consistent roll tension: even weaving keeps screen frames flat and prevents sagging after installation.
Clean cutting: PVC-coated yarn cuts without fraying, which speeds up frame assembly and reduces waste.
Colour matching: a wide palette allows suppliers to match aluminium and uPVC window profiles.
Eco-friendly option: recyclable PVC formulations meet the rising requirement of European and North American buyers.
Applications
The screens are used in residential windows, sliding doors, balcony enclosures, caravans and light industrial ventilation openings. The 40 mesh HDPE grade is also specified for fruit storage rooms and garden structures where very fine insect exclusion is required.
Supply Terms
Shuntian supplies plastic window screen in container quantities with OEM cartons, printed cores and private labels. Standard production lead time is 20 to 30 days from deposit, with shipment from Tianjin or Qingdao ports. Free cut samples in A4 size are available for quality approval before order confirmation.
Quality Control and Colour Consistency
Window screen failures usually come from two causes: uneven yarn tension that leaves a visible wave after splining, and colour drift between rolls that shows up on a finished façade. Shuntian controls both by inspecting loom tension at start-up of each batch and by holding master colour samples against which every production run is matched. Rolls are then measured for width and length before packing, so buyers receive the metres they paid for.
Packaging and Logistics
Rolls are wound on cores, wrapped in moisture-barrier film and packed in printed cartons sized for standard pallet configurations, which keeps container utilisation high and reduces damage in transit. For distributors who sell in cut lengths, Shuntian can supply shorter rolls or pre-cut panels with header labels. Shipments leave Tianjin or Qingdao, with consolidated containers available for buyers ordering window screen alongside insect net and shade net.
Samples and Approval
A4 swatches in each colour and mesh count are available at no charge for buyer approval, and production samples can be couriered before a first order. Technical data on yarn composition, coating weight and UV content is provided with quotations so specification teams can compare grades objectively.
