Polyester Printing Screen With Reasonable Stretching Tension And Printing Tension
There are many different between stretching tension and printing tension on polyester printing screen . The tension on your screen at the press will be the stretching tension, less the natural loss of tension due to frame bar deflection after stretching. The discussion is as following.
Tension is a very interesting topic in mesh industry. The best tension for screen printing varies with the mesh count, frame size, frame material and substrate. All frames are unable to support the same amount of tension. All mesh counts are not stretched in same way. Different printing situation doesn’t require the same tension. Our theory of tension is based on 20 years of screen production in the real world of printing and may be different from some authoritative understanding. Because it are sometimes based on ideal conditions and laboratory testing which do not necessarily translate to real world situations.
The frames are stretched at the following basic tensions:
